Some moments are just hard.
Not because something is wrong with you.
Because you’re human — and some states are too much to sit with alone.
When your mind needs a place to pause
My Self Tree is a growing collection of private places — each one built for one specific difficult moment.
No app. No subscription. No effort required.
Too overwhelmed to read the whole page?
That’s okay. You don’t have to.

What is My Self Tree
It is not a course, a meditation, a mental health app, or a program. It is a single, private page — accessible anytime, from any device — built for one specific mental or emotional state. You open it. Press play. And let it carry you through.
Inside, you’ll find audio for different intensities of the moment, grounding words, and quiet things to carry with you.
Just you, and a place that meets you exactly where you are.
How it works
What actually happens when you enter
1. You arrive
Open your private page via a simple link and password received right after purchase. No login or setup. Bookmark it once — it’s always there.
2. You press play
Choose an audio based on how intense your moment is (short for starting spirals, longer for deeper support). Just listen.
3. It carries you through
By the end, the moment is different. Not fixed. Just more bearable.
The page is yours forever whenever the moment returns.
Why I built this

Andrew, founder of My Self Tree
I built My Self Tree because I couldn’t find what I actually needed during hard moments.
Not another app. Not a course I had to commit to. Just something that could meet me in the middle of a difficult night and help me get through it.
Everything here comes from my own experience with anxiety, and years of learning what actually helps when thinking clearly isn’t possible.
Places to pause
Each place to pause is designed to be used when you have the least capacity to search for help.
Available now

For moments when anxiety peaks and you can’t think your way out of it.
What’s inside this place:
- Two audios for different intensities of anxiety
- An honest explanation of what is happening to your nervous system right now
- Grounding words and quiet tools to carry with you in the days after
🎧 Listen to a sample:
It’s your private, permanent place to pause you can return to 24/7.
What’s coming next
More places to pause are coming — each one for a different moment.
What I am building next:
- When thoughts won’t stop looping (Overthinking & Panic) — Coming Summer 2026
- When the weight of the day becomes too much — Coming Summer 2026
If you’d like to know when the next one is ready, choose the states that feel familiar and leave your email.
You’ll get one email from me. When it’s ready. No newsletters.

Why most anxiety tools fail when you actually need them
Ever tried breathing exercises or meditation mid-spiral only to find they stop working? It’s not your fault. Here is why most anxiety tools fail when you have the least to give—and what your nervous system actually needs instead.
What actually happens in your body when anxiety peaks — and why it always passes
Your heart races. Your thoughts won’t stop. Your chest is tight. None of it is in your head — and all of it has a clear physiological explanation. Here’s what anxiety actually does to your body, why it gets so loud, and why it always passes. Every single time.
Why anxiety gets worse when you try to fix it with thinking
Ever noticed how trying to figure out your anxiety only makes it louder? You’re not doing it wrong; you’re just using the wrong tool. Here is why and how.
